His mannerisms didn’t suggest any imminent danger. Of course, vampires could turn on a dime, lash out faster than a normal person could flinch, but he seemed more interested in perusing the sale prices than doing so. And maybe a little bit hurt, which even Daniel had to acknowledge was odd.
