birthright_rpg“I’d kiss you back? If it’s all the same then why are you leaving me voice-mails?” Valerie felt her heart beat roughly, too fast to be considered normal yet she tried to breath normally.
“Of course I’m not going to live forever, my destiny is to die.” Honestly, having to say it out loud made her teeth ache and she resisted the urge to scream.
“If I were to fraggle around with another girl, why would you care at this point?” Really, it made her wonder, and she wasn’t about to feel ashamed for being curious. “You’re the only guy I’ve ever tried to connect with. The only one I’ve tried to share all of my destiny with. If that means nothing to you then... It means nothing.” The truth of that made her feel weak but she refused to let it take over her.
“I will not beg you to understand. I don’t even understand what you mean. Maybe that’s the point of your message? I’m empty anyway. You know how to reach me if that’s what you want.”
