He knew that if this guy was going as low as to go to a vampire to hurt Rhiannon he had gone way beyond any edge, and Cian was quite comfortable with the idea of protecting Rhiannon whatever it took. She may want to take the guy out, but Cian would be there as back up in case things didn't go the way the Slayer wanted.
