She left it at that, not wanting Cian to know the things she thought about doing to Duncan, on behalf of herself and Iliana. He was trash, worth less than the dirt on her boots, and while she had never cared much for him as a person, she had at least respected him. Finding out she could be so badly wrong about a person was just another reason to despise him.
"I don't know why Julianna didn't ask. I do know she hates me, so it might have something to do with that. I"m sure she thinks I'm a liar. Listen, it doesn't matter, okay? I'll stay out of her way and she'll stay out of mine."
