“Why do I feel like I just caused trouble for myself?” The comment was cheeky despite the way her insides twisted and melted when he kissed the back of her hand. Valerie wasn’t used to being treated tenderly yet Brian did it so well that she easily lost herself in it. Whether she realised it earlier or not was hard to say but she knew right then that she was already falling for him. Head first straight down the rabbit hole.
You. “Uhm…” Valerie hesitated when they got to the sidewalk as she considered how she felt. “Not hungry.” In the food way. “But I am thirsty and my clothes are…” The blonde looked him over, felt her heart skip a beat, and swallowed thickly. “Well depending on where we’re going they could be considered restricting.”
Valerie flashed him a smile then jogged in front of him to hide the wave of colour that tinged her face. Nobody appeared to pay them any attention as they walked further down the street and the blonde pivoted to look at him, “Want to see what I can do? It’s not nearly as cool as levitating things but...” She quirked an eyebrow, all mischievous. A quick check to make sure the path was clear then the blonde did a back handspring followed by a step-out back handspring just to finish with an aerial. “It does show off my flexibility.”
