It had only been recently that she'd started to even use any of her magic outside the store, and she stifled a smile at the expression on Maddie's face when she'd done the little bit of levitation with the straw in the diner. Her mother had made it clear she should be very very careful about who knew her abilities, as she didn't want to attract the wrong people, or end up being accused of things she didn't do, just because of what she could do.
