The brogue touched Julianna's ears when the boat skipper spoke, and it made her smile with reserved nostalgia. To Father's annoyance, she had become prep school chums with Aislinn McDonough, a Catholic girl from Belfast, and although she and Linny hadn't seen each other in years the accent was still familiar, still recognizable.
