“I…” Valerie’s mouth hung open as the girl’s words hit and she found herself looking at her a little more intently than she’d intended. Had that been a joke to wind up Brian or was she actually being hit on? Personally as a girl who tended to go with the flow of life she’d never labelled her own sexuality beyond fluid so it didn’t freak her out. It did however intensify the blush.

The back and forth between the two band members evoked a short burst of laughter as she watched. “You know Brian, telling her to say nothing makes me want to hear everything she has to say. Huge flaw in that plan.” Valerie lifted one shoulder in a lazy shrug as amusement radiated through her short frame. “So what’s she not meant to say?”

Eyebrows raised when Brian instructed Madeleine to keep her fingers and tongue to herself. Then all of a sudden she was standing next to her, a hand on her shoulder. Valerie turned to look at the girl as she bit her lip thoughtfully. Madeleine was a few inches taller than her, and her hand was distractingly warm. “I honestly can’t be sure if you’re being serious or just messing with me.” She admitted bemused.
